The San Luis Obispo County Farmers' Market Association presents two incredible farmers' markets in the city of San Luis Obispo. Spanning two blocks in charming downtown, the Thursday Night SLO County Farmers' Market is a colorful street party with 70 farmers and growers from Central California and the San Joaquin Valley, selling fresh, seasonal produce, flowers, artisan foods and baked goods. Held at the World Market/Cost Plus parking lot, the Saturday morning farmers' market boasts 60 vendors with fresh greens, fruits and flowers. Sample local foods and enjoy live music and children's activities at this incredible market.

    This is one of the largest farmers’ markets in California so plan on walking and bring cash for food and metered street parking. Parking is free after 6 pm, but the side streets and spots fill up fast. You may want to hop on the trolley, which is just 50 cents, or arrive early to beat the crowds.
